A private yoga
lesson is a wonderful opportunity to explore more deeply and
translate the language of your own physical body. Private
lessons are the heart of evolutionary yoga and can be one of
the best ways to design a yoga practice that suits your body
and provide a setting in which your individuality can be
completely addressed rather than trying to "fit in" to a
yoga class.
Yoga postures and breathing techniques are selectively
chosen to meet your specific needs. Yoga at its depth is
intensely personal. Learning and practicing postures and
breathing exercises at your own pace and within your own
range is the most effective way to realize the benefits of
yoga. Attentively guided by verbal instruction,
demonstration, and hands-on direction, you will explore yoga
in a way that is practical and beneficial. True strength,
endurance, and range of motion are developed incrementally
and gradually, not by force. Through an approach that is
gradual and gentle, experience how the subtle power of yoga
works with all aspects of your being - physical,
psychological, and spiritual. Rediscover and enjoy your

Yoga Therapy.
Yoga Therapy is a one on one therapy between teacher and
student. Yoga therapy tailors yoga practices to the
individuals needs.
Yoga Therapy consists of a combination of physical postures,
breathing techniques and relaxation methods. Substantial
help is given by yoga therapy for a variety of common
conditions, including anxiety, low back pain, arthritis,
hypertension, heart conditions, hyperventilation, asthma,
irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes and chronic fatigue
syndrome. Yoga therapy is the adaptation of yoga practices
for people with health challenges.
Yoga therapy in its present form is a new discipline,
created by the marriage of traditional yoga practice with
modern medicine.
By tailoring yoga practices to individual needs, while
taking medical considerations into account, yoga therapy is
more effective than general yoga practice as a safe means of
treating medical conditions.
Yoga therapy does not claim to cure all these diseases but
it can often aid in their management.
Yoga Therapy takes a holistic approach to health emphasizing
body/mind integration, heightening of awareness, and
cultivation of a sense of harmony with life. By these means,
yoga therapy promotes the natural and innate healing
resources of the body and helps restore the proper
functioning of the various bodily systems. This can often
help to alleviate symptoms and guard against diseases,
especially those associated with stress. Yoga Therapy is
practiced in conjunction with any medical treatment you are
already receiving, and can moreover be practiced in tandem
with other complementary therapies. No prior experience of
yoga is necessary before undergoing treatment.

Pilates
Private Sessions
In a private session you work
individually with one of our instructors following a
customized program tailored to your individual needs, goals
and fitness level. Private sessions are a great way to be
introduced to Pilates, learning at your own pace. Private
sessions are also great for post-injury rehabilitation,
chronic back pain, pre- or post-natal programs, present
medical conditions or overall conditioning. We would be
happy book you in for a free consultation to discuss your
specific needs.
We also have semi-private session, where you are joined with
one other student and the teacher.
